THE CHALLENGE

When the opportunity arose to scale his home-grown brand for mass distribution, Mike approached Chase to help evolve the packaging of his Hot Honey for a stronger shelf presence with a clearer identity. Born from roots as a hit ingredient on a pie at a popular Brooklyn pizza shop, this game-changing product was considered a pioneer in the condiment space that needed a label to set it apart from the regular honeys.

THE SOLUTION

We drew inspiration from Mike’s pizzeria roots and “old-soul” character to develop a vintage-inspired typographically-driven design that champions the unique heat in every bottle.

LOGO DESIGN

The original logo needed rethinking to improve legibility. Proprietary custom lettering replaced the old script font for a logo that not only scales more elegantly down to small sizes, but speaks to the craft and quality of the product.
