The CW

How can a title tell the whole story?

THE CHALLENGE

The CW Network has had a long history of turning out a wide variety of hit shows for the coveted 18-34 demographic. Whether a comedy, a drama or the latest supernatural epic, each of these series has its own personality and aesthetic. Making the identities for each one as unique as their storylines is an ongoing challenge for the CW.

THE SOLUTION

From early work for the WB network to design for current shows on the CW, Chase has worked to understand the plotlines, characters and art direction that make each property unique. Not only is this an exciting "peek behind the curtain" for the upcoming season but it gives us the opportunity to capture the essence of each series in typography, color palette and supporting graphic elements.

UPFRONTS

For Upfronts (the broadcast world's advertising event) all of the CW's upcoming shows are showcased together. To support this, Chase created a system in which the network's diversity was expressed with a dynamic "sliced screen" graphic toolkit for the multi-media presentation and overall event decor.
